ExploreTalent

I have received the following texts over the last two weeks because my membership has expired and I refuse to pay for another yearly membership. I fell for this when I first started modeling years ago. Today, I'm much smarter. There are many real and legitimate ways to get castings. The following are the exact texts sent to me. After years of being a member and submitting, nothing came of it. Maybe it was just me; however I've done work through other websites. This one wasn't for me and I believe the messages are sort of a catfish to make you believe a big celebrity is interested. Don't fall for it!

Fake leads
Fake profiles
Fraudulent services.
Not worth the browse it has wasted my funds amd wasted my time.

Per OPM, exploretalent.com maliciously mines data using illicit cyber techniques. My own phone number was compromised by Explore Talent.

This company is a huge scam I no longer wanted to worth with them because it taken them forever to get me a role also the lady I worked with wanted me to do the vip membership but never called didn't help me with my resume nothing then I wanted a refund within time I still yet have seen my 199$ that they owe there lucky I don't sue them this company is bs

I worked for Explortalent.com for 6 weeks. The jobs are fake, the testimonials are paid actors and the owner sits in the Philippines nurturing his drug habits. There is no head quarter in Las Vegas. It's only a P. O. box address. No Americans are working for him. All agents are in the Philippines and Mexico. He is an evil man. Opening and closing offices on a monthly basis and not paying the employees. Don't sign up with them. Take my word for it. When I found out what was going on I quit immediately. He's a con man and Explore talent.com is a fraud.

I quit that scamming company a couple of months ago. Its a huge scamming scheme that has been going for years already. By the way, dont let yourself be mistaken by the "positive" fake reviews that you read, all of them are written by the sales manager (ram luzada) and his army of philipin minions. Im going to point out some of their tactics:

1. The company is not in USA (as they claim to be). If you ask for the adress, they will give you the location of a baker store in las vegas, the actuall company is in Cebu, Philipins.

2. They provide fake castings. Most of their castings are fake or have already expire. However, they will send mass SMS to people saying that a forever 21 campaign wants them for their next printshoot, or the next spiderman 3 movie wants you as an extra. Obviusly its all a bunch of crap.

3. Most of the casting directors dont even know that their castings are being posted on that $#*!ty website. They just copy casting alerts from any part of the internet (even facebook) and post them on the website as if one od the casting directors did it.

4. After you pay for the useless membership, you wont hear from them again, only until its time to renew again, and they will try to contact you saying that "you have miss a lot of audition oportunities".

5.The scammer agents such as william price or maxie powers will lie to you. They will tell you anything you want to hear so that you buy their scam " a casting director wants you to audition for them, they will pay for transportation and acomodation fees, i will be your agent and i will do everything for you". Watch it, their just a couple of low life philipinos playing to be sales agents.

6. When training their scamming agents, most of the training cosisted on explaining us why explore talent "isnt a scam". Even the agents know the scam that is behind this.

7. They will try to hook you up with fake castind director invitations. They literally send those to everyone. I myself when i was an employee could send them, pretending i was a casting director myself.

8. If you fall for their scam, remember that you can call and ask for a full refund.

9. These people only pray on peoples hope to be an actor or model. They will literally tell you anything to make you believe you can make it into this industry. I garantee you: NO ONE HAS EVER GET ANY REAL AUDITION in scam talent (explore talent).

I hope this review prevents a lot of people of giving your hard earn money to this philipinos piece of $#*!. From my end, i will do anything withing my reach to bring this scammers down.

I hope you are reading this Ram Luzada (sales manager) and Michael cook (CEO), your time is coming.

I was on this site for 6 months and didnt land any gig they give u nonsence... gigs that no bodys wants to be apart of if your looking to be in a real movie
DONT USE EXPLORE TALENT!

Legitimate modeling agencies will NEVER EVER ask you for one dime! Their job is to find you work and then take a percentage. Modeling agents usually take10-20% and Acting agents take 10% of the gross earnings for a project. Btw, Modeling and Acting agents DO NOT give acting/modeling classes, or take photos for your portfolio! Please do NOT fall prey to this deceptive business practice! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I did my own commercials and sent it to the agents when I was notified by ET and I tried out for everything and NEVER got a response from anyone. Very frustrating to be ignored after I put forth so much effort, time and money into everything I sent them. No one got back to me, no one at all!

I made an account 9 months ago they just started sending me text messages saying I have been matched for an audition. As soon as I called they asked me to pay them over $100, and said they believe that if I don't pay or invent in myself I am not serious... they also asked for my debit card information which was supper sus. Then as I did research I found out they are gold diggers who only want your money. On the phone call they didn't really listen to what I had to say and called me disrespectfully for denying to give them my card information... don't fall for this company they just wanna scam you and it's no good to you at ALL!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY ACTING OR MODELING GIGS... THESE PEOPLE ARE TOO DEMANDING AND DONT LISTEN 2 ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY AND DONT MAKE SENSE OF WHAT THEY'RE SAYING AS WELL. THEN THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN ONLY APPLY TO GIGS UNDER YOUR MATCHED JOBS WTF IF I PAY 180 DOLLARS I BETTER BE ABLE TO APPLY TO WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT AND HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING BACK FROM ANY GIG I APPLIED 2 PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON ANYTHING WITH THEM AND PLUS THEY ALL ARE FOREIGN SO YOU KNOW THATS A DAM SCAM THEY DONE PISSED ME OFF TO THE HIGHEST MAX I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM I HAD THEM TO REFUND ME MY MONEY BACK ASAP AND IF I DONT GET ILL BE FLYING TO THEIR LOCATION WITH THE SH**

Did a 7 day for 2 dollars on some casting that my daughter got an email for, still not sure when the profile was made. They then charged 188.00 for a memberrship that we did not want. Not only is this an outrageous price, not even close to Actors Access, Backstage, or LA casting all that are 120 and under for a yearly price. They apparently have in small writing terms and conditions for this and charge regardless if you want the service. I would give this a negative if I could. Bad business and over priced.

How did explore talent get my child's picture & name? We do not consent! The profile is fake. We have never even been in USA. Intercontinental identity theft?

Why is it so hard for beginners in the acting world, or entertainment business to get an agent?
I get it we "lack" the experience agents look for but does that mean we lack in raw talent or dedication. NO. From the time I was a baby to the 24 year old man I am now I've been told I have a spark a light about me that meant for something, we'll I found one of my dreams and I'm pursuing it but these sites that want money constantly for me to be successful shut me down cause guess what I HAVE NO MONEY. I'm well aware that these sites are filled with PARAsites (< Ha Thee Irony) that want to suck us dry but I want to act and if that means bombarding audition until they see I'm the guy for the role so be it. Notice the flare of dramatic I in my writing, and IM NOT BORN FOR THIS, I THINK NOT.
